Crypto SEO, AEO and Content Solutions

Search work in crypto now covers two surfaces. Traditional optimisation still decides who appears in Google's organic results, while answer engine optimisation deals with whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews cite you when they answer a question on your behalf. Content sits underneath both. Projects invest here when they want acquisition that does not stop the day the ad budget does, when they want to own the explanation of their own product category, or when they realise the answers being given about them are assembled from sources they do not control.

Why crypto search is harder than most verticals

Crypto results pages are unusually concentrated. Aggregators, price trackers and the largest exchanges hold most of the commercial real estate, and their domain authority is not something a two-year-old protocol simply out-writes. Realistic strategy therefore leans toward long-tail and problem-specific queries, comparison and alternatives pages, documentation-grade explainers, and genuine topical depth in a narrow area rather than head-term attempts. Everything here is also treated as YMYL because it is financial, so authorship, sourcing, factual accuracy and visible update dates carry real weight instead of being checklist items.

AI answer engines have changed what is worth producing at all. A large share of informational queries now resolve inside an answer with no click, which makes traffic-per-keyword forecasting unreliable and shifts the objective toward citability. Getting cited requires structure a retrieval system can lift cleanly: the direct answer stated in the first sentence under a heading, passages that stay coherent when pulled out of context, consistent entity naming, claims attached to sources, and schema that makes the page machine-legible. Corroborating brand mentions on third-party sites matter too, which is where this work overlaps with PR.

The mistake buyers repeat is commissioning volume. Fifty thin articles aimed at keywords with no commercial intent produce crawl waste and, in a YMYL category, a quality signal problem. A smaller set of pages that genuinely answer something, kept current and linked into a coherent internal structure, outperforms them consistently.

How to choose the right SEO, AEO and content solution

Scope the engagement to the gap you actually have, whether that is technical, editorial, authority or all three. Then look for:

  • Crypto-specific SERP understanding. Generic SaaS playbooks fail against aggregator-dominated and exchange-dominated results.
  • AI visibility measurement. Whether citations inside AI answers are tracked at all, or only classic rankings.
  • Writer subject depth. Whoever writes about your protocol has to understand it, because YMYL scrutiny punishes vagueness.
  • Technical capability. Rendering, indexation and schema on a JavaScript-heavy dApp are engineering problems, not content problems.
  • Honest forecasting. No one can promise a ranking or a citation, and an offer of either is a reason to walk.
