Retardio: KOL-Led Growth on X

About the project: Retardio is a Solana-native community brand built around an NFT collection and token, with an internet-culture identity that lives almost entirely on X. Its audience is native to crypto Twitter, which makes reach on that platform the whole game: attention there turns into community, and the community is the product.

Campaign goal/challenge:

Grow reach on X without flattening a voice the community polices closely. Retardio's culture is the asset, and anything that reads as conventional brand marketing gets rejected by the exact audience it is meant to attract. Distribution had to be earned through accounts the community already trusts, not bought around them.

Scope of work/services included:

• KOL sourcing, vetting and contracting across crypto-native X accounts
• Post angles and campaign narrative built to match the community's voice rather than a brand tone
• Growth hacking: coordinated posting windows, reply-chain seeding and engagement loops
• Ongoing performance tracking, with budget reallocated to the accounts actually driving reach

Results:

• More than 15M impressions on X across the campaign
• Distribution earned through crypto-native accounts rather than brand-owned posting
