Streamer Sponsorship Checklist: Delivery, Proof and Payment
October 19, 2026

This streamer sponsorship checklist covers what you do before, during and after a sponsored stream, so the sponsor can see every deliverable happened and your invoice is approved the first time. It is written for casino and crypto casino deals, mostly on Kick, with Twitch rules noted where they differ.
Quick answer: Work in four stages. Before you sign, turn the deal into a list of deliverables with agreed proof. Before you go live, test every link, code, overlay and disclosure. During the stream, deliver on time and capture proof. After it, save the VOD, send a proof pack within 48 hours and invoice against the list. The 40 checks below cover all four.
LuvKaizen works with casino and crypto casino brands that sponsor streamers. We match you with a brand that fits your audience and accepts your viewers' countries, and we negotiate the deal with you. Applying is free.
Why Sponsored Streams Get Disputed

Most payment delays on sponsored streams happen because nobody can show a deliverable was done the way the deal described it. The brand's team rarely watches the whole stream live.
Brands also check harder than they used to. In Q2 2025, at least 10% of Twitch channels with 50 or more average viewers showed clear signs of persistent viewbotting, and more than 16% of Kick channels of that size were suspected viewbotters, according to a Streams Charts and Audiencly report (Tubefilter, 26 September 2025). A clean proof pack sets you apart.
| What goes wrong | What it costs you | Checks that prevent it |
|---|---|---|
| Tracked link breaks or opens the wrong country page | Lost sign ups; that segment may go unpaid | 11, 12, 29 |
| Overlay is covered by your camera or alerts | The brand cannot see its logo in the VOD | 14, 23 |
| Spoken mentions are shorter or later than agreed | Partial payment or a make good stream | 5, 22 |
| Disclosure is missing or only in your panel | Platform strike risk and a brand compliance problem | 16, 17, 21 |
| VOD expires before the brand reviews it | No proof that the stream ran as agreed | 31, 32 |
Twitch deletes past broadcasts after a set period and has capped highlights and uploads at 100 hours per channel since 19 April 2025 (TechCrunch, 20 February 2025), so save proof within a day.
Stage 1: Before You Sign, Turn the Deal Into a Deliverables List
A line like "three sponsored streams with mentions" is where disputes start. Rewrite the scope as one line per deliverable and agree the proof for each.
- List every deliverable separately. Stream hours, spoken mentions, overlay, chat command, panel, title tag and follow up clips are each a line.
- Write the spec for each line. For example: at least 3 hours live in the Slots & Casino category.
- Fix the dates and the time zone. Agree the start window and how to move a stream.
- Agree the viewer metric. Average viewers, peak viewers or hours watched, the source, and any minimum.
- Set the mention rules. How many, how often and how long.
- Get approved talking points in writing, including banned claims such as promising wins.
- Confirm the countries. The brand must be licensed where your viewers are. Ask which countries it accepts.
- Agree the proof pack. Which screenshots and exports the brand wants, and by when.
- Tie payment to deliverables. When each payment is due and what happens if one line is missed.
- Agree make good rules. If a stream is cut short or a link breaks: an extra segment, an extra stream or a partial fee.
Three example lines:
| Deliverable | Spec | Proof the brand gets |
|---|---|---|
| Sponsored live session | 3 hours minimum on the agreed date, 18+ label on | VOD link and stream analytics screenshot |
| Spoken mentions | At the start, then about every 30 minutes, 20 to 30 seconds each | Timestamps in your proof log |
| Chat command | A command that posts the tracked link, active all stream | Screenshot of the command firing and the link click report |
Stage 2: Before You Go Live, Test Everything
Run these 24 hours before the stream and again 30 minutes before you go live.
- Open the tracked link on phone and desktop and check it lands on the approved country page.
- Test the promo code. It must be active and spelled as you will say it.
- Set up the chat command and pinned message with the tracked link, and test the command.
- Check the overlay in a preview. Camera, alerts and game interface must not cover the logo.
- Add the sponsor link to your panel with a disclosure next to it.
- Turn on the platform's disclosure setting. Kick and Twitch require their Branded Content tool.
- Put #Ad or #Sponsored in your stream title. Kick asks for plain words like Paid Promotion, not Partner or Collab.
- Set the age label and the correct category. Kick requires both on gambling streams.
- Check the brand against the platform's rules in the table below.
- Start your proof log, one row per deliverable.
Platform rules behind checks 16 to 19, read on the official pages on 17 October 2026:
| Platform | Gambling sponsorship rule | Disclosure rule | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kick | Licensed platforms only; age labeling required | Branded Content tool, #Ad in the title, verbal disclosure at the start | Guidelines, updated 19 March 2026 |
| Twitch | No links or codes to sites with slots, roulette or dice | Branded Content tool on sponsored content | Guidelines, Terms section 9 |
Stage 3: During the Stream, Deliver and Capture Proof

Deliver what you promised, and leave a trail the brand can check without watching every minute.
- Say the disclosure out loud at the start of the sponsored segment and repeat it during the stream. The US FTC says to repeat live stream disclosures periodically for viewers who join late (FTC, Disclosures 101).
- Do each spoken mention at the agreed time and write the timestamp in your proof log.
- Screenshot the overlay at the start, the middle and the end of the stream.
- Screenshot the chat command and pinned message working at least once.
- Stick to the approved talking points. Never promise wins or present gambling as income.
- Keep minors out. Kick bars minors from all gambling related activity. Let your mods handle anyone who says they are under 18.
- Give the responsible gambling message the brand asks for.
- No buy ins from viewers. Kick prohibits gambling with other users' funds, such as giveaway buy ins.
- Log anything that goes wrong with the time: a link outage, a crash, a drop. Tell the brand the same day.
- Stay live for the agreed length, or log when and why you ended early.
Stage 4: After the Stream, Send the Proof Pack
- Save the VOD the same day. Download it or export the sponsored part as a highlight.
- Check the VOD shows the overlay and the mentions where your log says.
- Correct your timestamps against the VOD.
- Screenshot your stream analytics: average and peak viewers, hours watched, chat messages and unique chatters for that stream.
- Ask the brand for link and code results if you have no dashboard access.
- Post the agreed clips with the same disclosure, and add their URLs.
- Send the proof pack within 48 hours, formatted as below.
- Invoice line by line against the deliverables list.
- Keep every file until you are paid and any review period has ended.
- Ask for feedback and the next date.
| Proof pack section | What to include |
|---|---|
| Stream summary | Date, start and end time, platform and VOD link |
| Deliverables log | One line per deliverable: done, timestamp, proof file |
| Overlay and command proof | Three overlay screenshots and one command screenshot |
| Audience data | Average and peak viewers, hours watched, chat activity |
| Results | Clicks, sign ups or code uses, with the source |
| Issues | What went wrong, when, and how it was made good |
Our streamer clipping guide explains how to turn the stream into short form reach.
When Something Goes Wrong: Fixing a Delivery Gap
Things break on live streams. Report it before the brand finds it, with a fix ready.
| Situation | What to send the brand | Usual fix |
|---|---|---|
| Tracked link was down for part of the stream | Times it was down, error screenshot | Extra segment with the working link |
| Stream ended early | Actual against agreed length, and why | Make good stream or pro rata fee |
| Overlay was hidden for part of the stream | Timestamps when it was covered | Extra overlay time next stream |
| A spoken mention was missed | Timestamps of the mentions you made | Extra mention next stream or in a clip |
| The brand questions your viewer numbers | Analytics screenshots and the VOD | Check against the metric in the deal |
Agreeing these fixes up front (check 10) turns an argument into a routine step. Brands look for this reliability, as our guide on how operators hire casino streamers shows. For Kick deals in particular, read our Kick streamer casino sponsorships guide.
Run the full streamer sponsorship checklist on your next three sponsored streams and it becomes routine. Then apply to LuvKaizen and we will look for a casino or crypto casino brand that fits your content. You stay responsible for your platform's rules and local law, and we only put you forward to brands that accept your audience's countries. Applying is free.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a streamer sponsorship checklist?
A streamer sponsorship checklist is the list of checks a streamer runs before, during and after a sponsored stream: deliverables agreed, links and disclosures tested, proof captured live and a proof pack sent afterwards. It makes delivery easy to verify and payment faster.
What proof do sponsors ask for after a stream?
Usually a VOD link, screenshots of the overlay and chat command, timestamps of each spoken mention, and analytics screenshots with average and peak viewers and hours watched. Some brands also want link clicks and promo code uses.
Do I need to disclose a casino sponsorship on Kick?
Yes. Kick requires its Branded Content tool, #Ad or #Sponsored in the stream title, a verbal disclosure at the start of the sponsored segment, clear disclosure of affiliate links and proper age labeling on gambling streams.
What happens if a sponsored stream goes wrong?
Tell the brand the same day with the times and what happened, and offer the make good your deal describes, such as an extra segment or stream. Agreeing make good rules before you sign avoids most disputes.
Does it cost anything to apply to LuvKaizen?
No, applying is free. LuvKaizen works with casino and crypto casino brands that sponsor streamers, matches you with a brand that fits your audience and negotiates the deal with you.
